Activating Turmeric in “Golden Milk”

I have had requests for “Golden Milk” and have been taught a way to prepare “Golden Milk“ that activates the curcumIn in the turmeric.

Turmeric is known for it‘s Anti inflammatory qualities, but needs activation in order to be effective. The use of an oil, thermal heat and chemical heat ( a warming herb such as pepper and ginger), act as a catalyst to promote activation of this awesome herb.

Ancient wisdom practices supports the use of an oil ( i.e..ghee, or plant based such as coconut), placed in a pan, over low heat, add 1 part turmeric, 1/4 part pepper (I use white pepper or red pepper. I find it less irritating), 1 part ginger, 1 part cinnamon, whisk in 8 oz of milk or plant based milk ( I prefer coconut, hemp, cashew or macadamia milk, all very smooth), add sweetener if desired (maple syrup, honey or stevia)heat until desired temperature, enjoy.
